Leadership Retreat

In the first aliyah retreat of its kind, we will spend two days and nights camping in the beautiful Delaware Water Gap National Park, followed by a powerful leadership seminar in New York City on the final day of the program. This is a chance for students to gain access to the funding, experience and resources that ImpactAliyah has to offer to help you invigorate the pre-aliyah community on your campus. We are going camping, so bring your hiking boots, flashlights, and ideas!

The program leaves from New York City on Sunday August 17 at 8am, and will return for the completion of the program in the City on Tuesday August 19.

Cost: There is a nominal fee of $25. Meals, lodging (in tents) and transportation between Delaware Water Gap National Park and New York City are covered.

Limited travel subsidies are available for students from outside the tristate area.

Space is quite limited, and admissions are rolling, so the sooner you apply, the better your chances of reserving a spot.

Volunteering:
We are looking for volunteers to help with certain aspects of the program. We are especially looking for drivers who will be willing to fill their car and drive to the campsite. Its about an hour and forty-five minute drive each way (we will of course pay for gas and tolls). We are also looking for others to help in a number of ways (you can of course just come and enjoy):

I would be willing to drive myself and others in my car to the campsite and back to New York City I have a tent or other camping equipment that I can bring on the program I am good with a camera, I can take pictures for the group I am good with a video camera (we have one, you don't need to bring your own) I have some crazy stories to share from my experiences in Israel I would like to help with the logistics of the program (making sure people can get to NY, shopping for kosher marshmallows, planning the hike, etc) I would like to bring a guitar or other portable instrument I would like to help write up about the goings on during the trip to be posted on our blog
